Office of the Principal

Hello! My name is Vera Cleveland. I am blessed and honored to be the principal at Eagle Lake Intermediate School! I look forward to serving the students, staff, parents, and community members.

After graduating Rice High School, I attended Sam Houston State University. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in 2009 with a concentration in Kinesiology, Education, and Mathematics. I obtained my Master’s Degree in 2015 with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction.

This will be my 14th year in education. I started out as a teacher then became an instructional coach. I have been in campus administration the last 5 years. As the principal, I look forward to working closely with each of you as we give our students the very best foundation at Eagle Lake Intermediate!

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching/playing sports, reading, writing, and traveling!
